Brooklyn Beckham’s new show will follow his dreams of becoming a chef not long after he made a questionable breakfast sandwich on the Today Show in the US.
The eldest son of David and Victoria Beckham has teamed up with Messenger for an eight-part series titled Cookin ‘With Brooklyn that will follow his path to becoming a chef.
Throughout the series, Brooklyn will meet notable chefs like Nobu Matsuhisa, Nancy Silverton, Roy Choi, and more to help achieve its culinary goals.
The photographer and model will be inspired to create dishes for family and friends like younger brother Romeo Beckham, 24kGldn, Sebastian Yatra, Dr. Woo, LilHuddy and his fiancée Nicola Peltz to recreate.
In a new trailer, Booklyn explains the reasons for his new project.
He begins: “My name is Brooklyn Beckham and I just love to cook … I’m not a chef yet, this is the beginning of my culinary journey.”
The clip introduces various chefs, cooking techniques, and different kitchens in Brooklyn for viewers to explore on the series.
He continues, “I love preparing food for the people I love and with whom I enjoy spending time.
“I’ll work off my a ** e and see where I go, I get goose bumps, I’m so excited.”
The video ends with a pinch of spices from the would-be chef that even Salt Bae would be proud of.
It comes after Brooklyn’s cooking efforts on the Today Show left some viewers unimpressed after trying to make an English breakfast sandwich.
In the segment he cooked some bacon, sausages and an egg, placed the whole thing between two unroasted (and unbuttered!) Bread slices and a piece of ketchup on top.
Back then, he told hosts Hoda Kotb and Carson Daly that cooking is “something I love,” and he makes the dish “every morning.”
He explained the importance of the sandwich: “My great grandmother taught me how to do this, so it’s really special to me.”
“I’ve always been interested in food,” he said later. “I’ve always been a little gourmet. I’ve always been lucky enough to try great food. ”The customer review has been automatically translated from German.
However, it looks like Brooklyn will be more adventurous in its upcoming series in which he shares some of his food with some of his very famous family.
He said of his cooking trip: “All the brothers make it difficult for me! We joke a lot, but at the end of the day we all love each other.
“Me and my brothers are really competitive in everything, we try to arm each other.”
Cookin ‘with Brooklyn is posted to Brooklyn’s Instagram and Facebook accounts every Wednesday.
