The Oman-based Ibn Saleh Al Hashmi Construction (ISAHC) has signed a contract with Thailand’s leading hotel operator Centara Hotels & Resorts to manage its new property. Al Hail Waves is the group’s third property in Oman managed by Centara.
Founded in 1994, ISAHC is one of the fastest growing construction companies in Oman with a proven track record of an impressive portfolio that includes hotels, private villas and residential buildings.
The management of the 64-key existing property will come into effect on January 1, 2022, according to a statement from Centara.
After that, Centara will begin renovating the property to align it with Centara’s brand and operating standards while it remains operational, it said.
Al Hail Waves will be the third ISAHC project to be awarded to Centara after the Muscat Dunes Hotel and the Centara Muscat Hotel Oman.
“We are proud and excited to open our third hotel in Oman, a country blessed with breathtaking nature, fascinating historical sites and a rich cultural heritage,” said Thirayuth Chirathivat, CEO of Centara Hotels & Resorts.
The hotel’s 64 holiday residences include standard rooms (20-26 m²) for modern living and studios (35-40 m²) that are fully equipped and have a kitchenette.
The largest two-bedroom apartments are 84 m² in size and feature separate living and dining areas as well as amenities and modern comforts for extended stays and traveling families.
ISAHC Chairman Abdullah Saleh Saif Al Hashmi said: “We are delighted to be working with Centara Hotels & Resorts again for our latest hospitality project in Oman. Growth.”
“We trust the group’s international sales and marketing expertise and look forward to another successful trip as we offer visitors an attractive selection of first-class hotels in Oman,” he added.
Other facilities at Centara-managed Al Hail Waves include an all-day dining restaurant, a swimming pool overlooking the Arabian Sea, a fully equipped gym and two meeting rooms for events for up to 150 guests.
Managed by Centara, Al Hail Waves is located northwest of Muscat on the road that connects Al-Seeb and Al Ahaiba.
The most popular leisure destination, Al Mouj, is a short drive from the hotel and the new Muscat International Airport is a 15-minute drive away.TradeArabia news service
