Hilton opens its first hotel in Italy, the Conrad Chia Laguna Sardinia. Located on the Sardinian coast, the hotel has 107 rooms overlooking the Bay of Chia, Monte Cogoni beach and Dune di Campana beach. The hotel is part of the larger Chia Laguna resort and offers exclusive guest amenities and privileged access to resort facilities.
Located on the southernmost tip of the Mediterranean island, the resort is surrounded by stunning natural beauty. Sand dunes, coastal flora and fauna and pink flamingos give way to Monte Cogoni and Dune di Campana, known as Italy’s most beautiful beaches, which are located on either side of the resort. Decorated with natural tones of green and blue, these spectacular vistas are visible from every corner of the property – with rooms, suites, restaurants and pools offering panoramic views over the iconic bay and lagoon. A protected wildlife habitat, Chia is home to countless species as well as wild herbs such as mint, rosemary and thyme, which often fill the coastal air with their soothing fragrance.

The interior of the property is designed to reflect the natural beauty of the surrounding area, thanks to a unique concept by Milan-based studio Marco Piva. The design consists of natural materials and neutral tones, resulting in a harmonious blend of elegance and Mediterranean simplicity. The approach combines contemporary design with local materials such as Sardinian “Biancone di Orosei” marble, a calcareous rock derived from ancient coral and fossils, with a subtle sandy hue. These local rocks have been used to create terraces that seamlessly blend the resort into its surroundings. The hotel lobby offers elements of Sardinian culture and invites guests to fully experience the cultural backdrop of the place with details such as wall coverings in traditional Sardinian fabrics and rope decorated furniture that represent the destination’s nautical roots.
Conrad Chia Laguna Sardinia is a great place for families and couples. The guest rooms are divided into two areas, each with its own swimming pool, private garden and walkways. There are also two restaurants to choose from, each with its own unique menu. La Terrazza serves a menu of Mediterranean and international cuisine in an interactive environment where guests can watch the cooking process while enjoying the panoramic views from the al fresco terrace. Sa Mesa – set in an olive grove – offers local specialties with a modern twist, offering foodies an authentic experience under the sparkling Mediterranean night sky.
The on-site Conrad Spa serves as an oasis of calm with an extensive range of treatments. From the rooftop solarium you can also enjoy stunning views of the entire resort and the surrounding countryside. There are a number of pools there for you to enjoy.
