Dates added! Fireworks Schedule for Ocean County, NJ July 4th

0

This weekend is the “big” weekend of summer. Everyone comes to the Jersey Shore because we have the best 4th of July fireworks.

We all love fireworks, especially on July 4th. And I don’t mean the fireworks that I hear every night in my neighborhood. my poor dogs I’m sure you know what I’m talking about.

It is the fireworks in the community that brings everyone together. There are several cities on the list in Ocean County that will host fireworks on July 4th. Some cities have them on July 3rd and others on July 4th.

Shawn and I have the pleasure of attending their annual Beachwood fireworks display on the Fourth of July each year. Once again we will be in Beachwood at Beachwood Beach. We always have so much fun playing our games and giving away prizes.

Independence Day is a day for family celebrations with lots of BBQs, family reunions, parades, picnics and of course fireworks. July 4th has been a federal holiday since 1941. This year it’s a three-day weekend if you’re lucky enough to get the holiday off.

When you join us in Beachwood for the annual Fourth of July fireworks, the potatoes are hot and the Shawn & Sue scavenger hunt is always so much fun.

I can’t wait for this year’s Fourth of July Celebration. It’s always such a great family time. We play games, give away prizes and of course the “famous” Hot Potato game that gets so crazy but always so much fun. We must have two groups at the same time with different age groups. Kids see me in stores and ask, “Are you going to play hot potato this year”…it’s a “big” hit.

And let’s not forget the 92.7 WOBM Shawn & Sue Super Scavenger Hunt. This is a crazy scavenger hunt right on Beachwood Beach. We’re handing out literally hundreds of papers with 10 different things to look for on the beach. One is always something with 92 and a 7 on a five dollar bill or quarter. Everything from a seashell with a rip to a red, white, and blue hair tie. It’s always so much fun.

We recently learned that Six Flags Great Adventure will be hosting fireworks every night this weekend. Saturday 2nd July, Sunday 3rd July and Monday 4th July begin each evening around dusk.
