Destination Kohler Announces Headlining Talent and Ticket Sales for Kohler Food & Wine October 20-23

The celebrity chef lineup includes Tom Colicchio, Esther Choi, David Rose, Ronnie Woo, Sherryhof, Derrell Smith, Grace Ramirezand cast members from “America’s Test Kitchen”

Kohler, Wis., 8th August2022 /PRNewswire/ — Aim Koehler is proud to announce the headlining talent for this year Kohler food & wine. On August 9ththGuests can purchase tickets to the first Midwest Epicurean event to begin Thursday October 20thth and extends throughout the weekend with cooking demonstrations, training courses, tastings, lunches, evening events and live music. Guests will have the opportunity to interact with and learn from some of the country’s most innovative chefs, wine experts and restaurateurs.

The four-day extravaganza features demonstrations and tastings on the culinary stages featuring distinctive culinary and oenological icons including:

  • Tom Colicchio – Executive chef and owner of Crafted Hospitality, featuring upscale restaurants on the East and West Coasts, as well as “Wichcraft”, a fast-casual concept for sandwiches and salads. Colicchio is the Head Judge at Bravo’s Top Chef and a passionate food activist and citizen chef who advocates for a food system that prioritizes access, affordability and nutrition over corporate interests. He was also Executive Chef at the first Kohler Food & Wine event 21 years ago!
  • Esther Choi – Chef & owner of mŏkbar, mŏkbar Brooklyn and Mrs. Yoo; Choi is driven by her Korean roots and inspired by her Korean grandmother’s ancient cooking techniques. Her cuisine combines traditional and modern influences with fresh, seasonal ingredients.
  • David Rose – Food Network TV personality, Omaha Steaks chef/spokesperson and author of cookbooks. Rose appeared as a finalist on Food Network Star (Season 13) and continues to be a culinary ambassador for several national brands
  • Ronnie Woo – Chef and owner of The Delicious Cook in los Angeles, an LA-based private chef company specializing in five-star culinary experiences. Woo is a television personality well known across multiple media platforms and the author of his highly anticipated debut cookbook. Have you eaten yet?, is scheduled for release in March 2023.
  • Sherryhof – 3x James Bart Award Winner, Bakery by the Yard Owner, Award Winning Cookbook Author – Secrets to Baking – Desserts by the Yard. Yard has worked to create masterful breads, opened new restaurants and is known for mentoring chefs around the world.
  • Derrell Smith – Former NFL athlete-turned-chef Smith is the host of Tastemade’s hit show Mad Good Food, in which he shows viewers how important it is, not just for your loved ones, but for yourself to cook.
  • Grace Ramirez – Chef, activist, cookbook author and broadcaster; Understanding that food is culture, Ramirez shares the nourishing traditions of vibrant and comforting Latin American cuisine, and her unique blend of tradition and adventure puts her cuisine at the heart of every community.
  • “America’s Test Kitchen” – The top-rated cooking show on public television is represented by cast members: Chief Creative Officer Jack BishopExecutive Editorial Director and Co-Host Bridget Lancaster and Executive Editorial Editor and Co-Host Julia Collin Davison.
  • The Bartolotta Group – The Bartolotta Restaurants is a nationally recognized restaurant and catering organization co-founded by a restaurateur Joe Bartolotta and his brother, twice James Bart Award winning chef Paul Bartolotta. Participating Bartolotta restaurants include Mr. B’s – A Bartolotta Steakhouse, BrookfieldMr. B’s – A Bartolotta Steakhouse, mequon, Joey Gerards – A Bartolotta Supper Club, Harbor House.

Kohler Food & Wine will proudly showcase more than 500 wines and 60 spirits, as well as appearances from winemakers, owners and representatives from some of the country’s largest wineries, including Cakebread Cellars, Duckhorn Vineyards, Rodney Strong Vineyards, J. Lohr Vineyards & Wines, Dry Creek Vineyard , St. Francis Vineyards & Winery, Villa Sandi and unique labels from Vine Connections.

New and signature wine and spirits experiences round out this year’s culinary event, including the beer and vineyard. The garden will offer guests a place to enjoy classics Wisconsin Beer or one of the available selections of popular Underwood wine in a relaxed atmosphere. The beer and wine garden offers daily live music. Guests can purchase tickets to the Beer and Vineyard Experience on-site in exchange for libations, no advance ticket sales available.

Also new to this year’s celebrations is the Edrington’s nineteenth hole, which offers the best of cocktails and golf when the Edrington Spirits team takes over Kohler Swing Studio. This exclusive, interactive and educational event allows guests to take part in Edrington brand tastings, old-fashioned cocktail making, delicious bites and fun activities such as table games and use of Swing Studio’s golf simulators. Guests have the opportunity to participate closest to the pen competition to win a branded golf bag; additional local purchase opportunities that benefit Lakeshore Trout Unlimited.

The signature Food & Wine HUB and The viewfinder: your passport to wine are back! The HUB provides a dedicated, central gathering area where all event attendees can connect with family and friends while enjoying libations. Wine-loving guests can explore the grounds of Destination Kohler The viewfinder: your passport to wine, a wine tour like no other. Guests who purchase this add-on to their event tickets will have the opportunity to sample four different offerings of The Seeker’s fine wines at four different locations.
