Chowking is celebrating National Siopao Day with a buy-1, take-1 promo.

Guevarra’s by Chef Laudico offers a breakfast buffet every Sunday from 7:30 am to 10:00 am with a selection of Filipino breakfast favorites.

The spread includes a bread corner featuring ensaymada, pan de coco, Spanish bread, and pizzas inspired by local flavors like tocino and tuyo; a salad section with options like ensaladang talong with salted egg, macaroni salad, and potato salad; an egg station; and a selection of main dishes such as vigan longganisa, daing na bangus, danggit, chicken pork adobo, hot dog, bacon, corned beef, and angus beef tapa.

To celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival, Grand Hyatt Manila is offering a luxurious collection of five flavor mooncakes, handcrafted by the hotel’s Chinese chefs at the premier No.8 China House Chinese restaurant.

This year’s baked favorites include the traditional white lotus and red beans, as well as modern confections like black sesame, ube, and white lotus with salted egg yolk.

Honeybon celebrates Buwan ng Wika this August with cake twists on Filipino desserts.

His Classic Sans Rival has layers of meringue with buttercream frosting and a sprinkling of crushed roasted cashews.

Topped with a halo of Ube buttercream frosting, the aptly named Saint-Ube cake is one of Honeybon’s best-sellers. It features custard between layers of Ube flavored chiffon and is topped with Ube buttercream frosting and Ube cake crumbs.

FILIPPO BERIO OLIVE OIL

Filippo Berio promises the excellence of Italian olive oil and cites 150 years of craftsmanship.

The brand shared their production process, which takes place at SALOV’s state-of-the-art facility outside of Lucca, Italy. Here Filippo Berio’s tasters taste 6,000 olive oils each year, of which only 6% are chosen by the brand as extra virgin.

The purest form of olive oil is extra virgin olive oil, which is stored or bottled immediately after pressing. To achieve this classification, the olive oil must undergo a rigorous series of tests to ensure its acidity is below 0.8%.
