Gila River Wild Horse Pass Reveals Rooftop Restaurant Plan


Extraordinary taste combinations, modern decor and a great ambience will take over the roof of the new tower of the Gila River Hotels & Casinos – Wild Horse Pass this fall. On the roof terrace is Prime, A Shula’s Steak House, which serves a fresh twist on classic steakhouse dishes with a touch of French culinary influence.

Prime rises 50 meters above the desert landscape on the 11th floor of the new hotel tower with breathtaking views of the Estrella Mountains and breathtaking Arizona sunsets. When the guests arrive in the hotel lobby, a special glass elevator takes them to the top floor. From the moment guests step into the Prime, they are greeted by an invigorating take on the traditional steakhouse experience, including perfectly cooked steaks, bold, yearning interpretations of classic dishes, and signature wines, coupled with attentive service that guests enjoy in puts the focus. After dinner, the venue changes to 11ven at Prime, a place where homemade cocktails and lively DJs blend effortlessly with the fabulous perspective of the valley. The late night has never looked so good.

Celebrity chef Demetrio Zavala was influenced by his European, Mediterranean and Mexican roots when he created the menu for Prime. Chef Zavala has participated in and won food network TV cooking shows, including Chopped and Chopped: Grudge Match.

The on-site culinary team is headed by chef Eric Arechiga, who studied classic French cuisine at SCI Le Cordon Bleu. Chef Eric currently heads a culinary team of eight highly qualified chefs whom he has personally trained and supervised.

The interior of the Prime was designed by Preen, an award-winning design and architecture group for the hotel industry. The space will feature neutral earth tones with leather accents and stone tabletops.

Our expansion project gave us the opportunity to place our crown jewel on the new tower, ”said Manuel.
