Pulcinella Restaurant reopens in new McLean location

MCLEAN, VA – Pulcinella Restaurant, an Italian kitchen, reopened Tuesday at a new location in McLean.

The restaurant announced on its website that it would open at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 7th at 1310 Chain Bridge Road. The old location at 6852 Old Dominion Drive is now home to The Italian Oven. The Italian Oven is owned by the Esposito family, who have been running restaurants in the area such as Esposito’s and Original Pizza N Pasta since the early 1980s. As previously reported by Tyson’s reporter, The Italian Oven was at the same McLean location in 1985.

Pulcinella, on the other hand, has been serving southern Italian cuisine since 1985. At the reopened location, guests can choose from a menu of starters, salads, soups, pasta, pizza, seafood, other starters and desserts. Dine-in and online orders are possible.

The new location has opened in the same shopping center as the upcoming Lidl store, which will replace the closed Safeway at 1330 Kettenbrückenstrasse. The opening is planned for 2022.

Another opening of the mall will be Divan Restaurant, a Persian-Mediterranean eatery at 1313 Old Chain Bridge Road. The menu includes mazzeh (starters), soups, salads, grilled and chopped dishes, seafood, starters and stews, and side dishes. The opening is planned for the beginning of December. Visit the Divan Restaurant website for future updates on the opening.
