It’s becoming a habit: Sunny Isles Beach’s most famous luxury oceanfront resort has just been named one of the top hotels in the country.

The ranking remains important in 2022 as the pandemic continues to disrupt travel, US News senior travel editor Zach Watson said.

“The travel industry has faced many disruptions over the past two years, underscoring the need to support and recognize hotels that continue to uphold excellent standards,” he said in a statement. “The Best Hotels 2022 Ranking provides travelers with a reliable guide for planning their next trip, whether it’s in a few weeks or later in the year.”

US News & World Report also rated hotels in the Caribbean, ranking Eden Rock-St. Barth’s No. 1 and Rosewood Bermuda as No. 1 in Bermuda. Jade Mountain in St. Lucia was voted the best all-inclusive resort in the Caribbean.

The methodology used to calculate ratings includes analyzing the hotel’s reputation with professional travel experts, guest reviews and hotel class ratings.
