Fathoms Restaurant & Bar
In Cape Harbor, a luxury marina development, this restaurant with sleek, ocean-inspired decor has indoor and outdoor seating with views of panting yachts. Handcrafted pizza dominates the extensive lunch and dinner menu, which also includes dishes like Korean grill-style ribs, Caribbean jerk prawns and firecracker calamari.
By the same owners at Fathoms, Gather is one of those businesses in the Westin that face a marina. The space is welcoming and cozy with tables at the bar, sofas, library shelves, and an outside terrace. The menu takes a modern take on American and Mediterranean cuisine, from lamb meatloaf to homemade pasta.
Jungle Bird Authentic Tiki
Jungle Bird expresses Florida themes in a tropical vein. The lush courtyard garden is flanked by indoor dining rooms with a touch of whimsy, true to its mission of creating a contemporary take on a 1960s tiki bar. Cocktails are revised versions of Tiki standards, such as Mai Tai and its rum blend of the same name. The simple menu, prepared from scratch, complements the bar program with shared plates such as coconut chorizo flatbread and Asian-inspired seafood and meat dishes.
Marker 92 Waterfront Bar & Bistro / Nauti-Mermaid Dockside Bar & Grill
While staying at the Westin’s beautiful docks, all you have to do is jump in the elevator to reach the waterfront restaurants. The flagship restaurant, the sleek Marker 92, and its port al fresco companion, Nauti-Mermaid, have reinvented their menus to celebrate the resort’s recent renovations. The focus is on local ingredients, like delicious Sanibel Pink Shrimp.
Point 57 Kitchen & Cocktails
The craft cocktails and home cooking made it an instant hit when it opened on busy Del Prado Blvd a few years ago. Impeccable service and memorable meals have helped Point 57 maintain its popularity. In the dominating bar and exhibition kitchen, order Signature such as the Owl Be Damned Cocktail for two, crispy pork knuckle and Cioppino. In summer, the terrace seating is covered and air-conditioned, but most opt for the super hip, airy dining room.
Cape Coral slides into Big Easy mode in this hidden gem. Live jazz sets the stage for a choir of authentic crab and corn fritters, gumbo, lobster etouffee and Cajun bouillabaisse.
