Yotam Ottolenghi is bringing his Flavor Of Life tour to Melbourne


The “foodie” revolution has in recent years turned into something of a hobby – experiencing and sharing food online for the world to see and envy. However, sharing such things on a large scale also serves as a learning platform, and chef, restaurateur and author Yotam Ottolenghi has recently gained popularity online for sharing his exquisite creations; and now he’s ready to travel across Australia for his Flavor Of Life – Live on stage Trip.

Yotam is known for his modern take on Eastern Mediterranean cuisine that brings flavors not used in mainstream cuisines to the forefront of home cooking in a relaxed and informative style – think rosewater, pomegranate, molasses, tahini, sumac and Za’tar.

That taste of life On the tour, Yotam talks about his life in the hospitality industry, sharing his experiences as a chef, kitchen entrepreneur and food writer, and providing insights into how flavors are enhanced and why they work – from basic pairings fundamental to taste to to cooking methods at the highest level that elevate ingredients to great heights. Joining Yotam on his Australian tour is award-winning author and presenter Alice Zaslavsky; Meanwhile, you can join in the fun with interactive activities on stage. You’ll become taste makers on stage, choosing the ingredients Yotam and Alice use in their dishes and teaming up with the infamous Ottolenghi test kitchen to create signature Ottolenghi dishes before a question-and-answer session.

Yotam brings his love of food to the world through his famous London restaurants NOPI and ROVI and five Ottolenghi delicatessens. In addition to Yotam’s culinary endeavors, he shares his passion for food through his best-selling cookbooks Much, Jerusalemand Ottolenghi EASYthe one that won National Book Prize in 2018 and was selected as Best Book of the Year through The New York Times.
